Corporation to have database
Information
on birth certificates and death certificates; pending and paid property
tax, income tax, water tax; and property tax with name changes will
soon be available at the click of a mouse soon.
Officials from the Corporation and municipalities attended a workshop on collection and compilation of data here on Wednesday. The Commissioner said that 124 municipalities were maintaining a database. Officers in Madurai were sent to Coimbatore to get training in data compilation.
