GHMC Town Planning wing to resume work

HYDERABAD: GHMC's Town Planning wing which went on a protest strike on Tuesday has decided to join work from tomorrow.
This was following assurances from Commissioner Sameer Sharma that the issue of Congress MLA P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy manhandling an ACP when he was trying to enforce the parking rule would be brought to the notice of the Lok Ayukta.
The alleged attack happened on Monday when the GHMC and the Traffic Police were trying to enforce the directions of the High Court and Lok Ayukta to act tough against commercial establishments lacking adequate parking space and violations of cellar space.
